Lavender Chamomile Rose Tea
Moonglow's lavender, chamomile, rose, and rooibos tea is a fragrant, caffeine-free herbal blend known for its soothing and comforting qualities. The floral, sweet, and slightly earthy notes create a tranquil, aromatic experience, especially when brewed to be enjoyed in the evening.
Flavor and aroma
The taste profile is a sophisticated, floral medley, brought together by the unique characteristics of each ingredient:
- Lavender: Adds a distinct floral, aromatic, and slightly sweet flavor with a delicate, soothing finish. It can also impart subtle herbaceous or minty undertones.
- Chamomile: Contributes a gentle, honeyed, and apple-like sweetness. Its light, floral notes and mild grassy undertones give the tea a calming and soft character.
- Rose: Offers a classic floral aroma and a delicate, romantic flavor. The rose element is sometimes included as rose hips, which adds a tart, fruity component and a high dose of vitamin C.
- Rooibos: Grounds the blend with its smooth, nutty, and slightly sweet flavor. This South African herb has low tannin levels, so it lacks the bitterness of traditional tea and adds a rich, earthy base.
